The Central Coast of New South Wales is
a large coastal region located immediately to the north of
the state capital of Sydney and south of the state's second
largest city Newcastle. The Central Coast is divided between
two municipalities: Gosford in the south and Wyong in the
north. Both municipalities embrace numerous suburban areas
and open land (in the form of reserves and National
Parks).

Things to See at the Central Coast
- Bouddi national park
- Patonga is a small, somewhat isolated and
relatively far-flung tranquil village community
within the Gosford City Municipality, located north
of Sydney on
the northern shores of the large inlet known as
Broken Bay. Patonga Beach is the southern-most
beach on the Central Coast of New
South Wales, Australia.
- Pearl Beach
- The Australian
Reptile Park is one of the best
wildlife parks in Australia and is 3km from
Gosford in Somersby. This park is situated
amongst bushland and attracts many tourists and
locals. It has many Australian animals including
crocodiles, snakes, wombats, Tasmanian devils,
kangaroos and emus, which are not fenced! There
are also daily crocodile and bird shows.
Events and Festivals at the Central Coast
- Annual oyster festival. Held mid
November.
- Spike Fest. An annual festival
celebrating the life and works of comedian Spike
